Ways To Earn
Located on the lower left, you will see the words Toolbar, NOSO, and Daily Poll. Dont worry about Toolbar for now, lets just focus on NOSOs and the Daily Poll.
No Obligation Special Offers or NOSOs can be done daily and earn you 2 SB. Offers range and all can be skipped. I always skip every offer because at the end, SB will still be rewarded. Remember, always skip.
Daily polls of course can be done daily. Questions vary and a reward of 2 SB will be given upon voting.
Games
Your home page has a tab at the top named PLAY. This is where your games are located. Games range from poker to Candy Crush type games. I tend to play Key Krusher (typing game) and Solitaire. The maximum number of SB you can earn a day from playing games is 10. No matter how many times you play or what games you play, you will only earn 10SB.
Searching
Searching may be an easy way to earn SB if you play your cards right. At the top of your page, there is a search bar; this is no Google. So far searching differs from person to person. I can search everyday but only get 6 or 7SB every other day and some people can get them 20 per day. Keep in mind that if you want to search for something serious this may not be the one. I had an experience where I searched for someone famous and got 0 results but went to Google and got over 1million.
Swag Codes
Swag Codes are codes that you put into the box located at the top of the home page. These codes are random, spontaneous, and dont last very long. The codes can be anything the SB Team want and are very much case sensitive. You can find codes on their Facebook page, blog, or twitter. But dont worry, I will show you an easy way to search for code without having to hover over 3 websites all day.
Videos
You can earn by just watching videos. Located top of the home screen and through out the middle of the home screen, you can find videos. Videos give between 1 or 5 SB depending on how many videos you need to "watch". All videos come with a timer so some videos auto play and other know when you leave the screen and the timer stops. Be mindful of this.
Special Offers
Located under the DISCOVER tab, special offers include everything from surveys to watching videos. Stick to your free offers for now. This includes surveys, free trails(cancel before the deadline) and installs.
With surveys, you must qualify. You can spend 20 minutes answering questions and not qualify and not get any SB. Nothing is worse than answers loads of questions and not even qualifying for anything. Take them at your own risk.
Free trials dont seem as bad as you think. In fact, they are my favorite. Free trails normally have a high payout because you need to have valid billing information. Don't let the idea of having to put up your credit/debit card information scare you because it is a free trail. If it is a product or service you truly do not want, cancel before the trail is up-easy peasy.
Installing software aka MALWARE can be a tricky things. I try to stick to programs that only install apps on Facebook or my browser-nothing goes onto my computer.
Most of the offers want you to join another site or receive newsletters. Here is the trick for that. If the offer states you need to conform an email or an email address is needed to sign up NEVER CLOSE YOUR WINDOW UNTIL YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU'VE RECEIVED A CONFORMATION EMAIL.
I cannot stress this enough. If you dont receive an email, that is the same thing as not signing up if you contact support about not receiving SB. Make sure you cover all your bases. I always have open my email account to make sure.
Shopping
If you are like me, you love to shop online so why not get SB for it?
Shopping online at certain sites can get you SB. To find a list of stores click on the SHOP tab on the home screen. A list of popular retailers like Groupons, Old Navy, and Ulta come with how many SB you get per dollar. If you are not sure if your store is connected with SB.com just do a search. I recently shopped online at Walmart.com and received 80 SB just for spending $20. Mind you I could have went to the store and bought it but that would not have gotten me SB. Plus Walmart is one of the store that have Site to Store shipping.
As you can see from the picture SB take time to be credited to your account. Be patient.
Toolbar
The toolbar is my number one go to item for earning SB. I'm able to do everything from search to see how many SB i've earned.
As I said before, there is an easier way to find Swag codes and the tool bar is it. There is a button named Check for Swag Code; clicking on this checks all sites. If there is a code out there, it will let you know in yellow where to look. If not, the button will be red.
Another thing the toolbar allows is easy shopping and searching. This saves you from having to go to the website.
When you have installed the toolbar, you will have done the actions needed for a check mark beside the Toolbar word on your home page. Refresh your toolbar by clicking on the Swagbucks drop down arrow on the far left. Refreshing gives you 1 SB everyday plus its good to know how many you have.
Phone App
The phone application isnt a requirement but it is a very good way to learn 100s of SB weekly. The app gives you access to videos which are worth 2SB every 5 videos. The trick is to watch short videos not long ones. I normally stick to news and travel. They range from 1 minutes to 2 minutes. I will also let you in on another secret. I never watch the videos, the app auto plays everything in the category. So basically if you have the data, you can set your app to a category and go to sleep at night. Beware of hang ups. Some videos get stuck and wont play. I know for me, the movie trailers and music videos do so I dont play those. Also, sometimes certain videos may go blank causing the app to go to sleep- meaning you are no longer earning. These are errors on SB side.
Referrals
When you post a link to Facebook, Tweet, or email a personalized link to a person, you can earn SB. Here is a misconception. SB.com say that you can earn 1000SB when people sign up from your link, the truth is when they sign up you dont get anything until they start searching. SB.com matches what they earn from searching and gives it to you. So for instance, if someone signed up under me and earned 10SB from searching, I would also get 10SB.
More Tips/ Information
- Always check your personal email. SB sends offers through email all the time.
- Check you SB inbox for offers.
I have been a member of SB since December 19, 2013 for that is almost two months and I've earned over 4,000SB. I'm trying to make my way to 10,000 so I can redeem my credits for $100.
